Best Felet Badminton Rackets - Top Ten Chart
If you ask badminton players "what is the #1 Malaysian badminton brand in the market?", chances are that their answers will either spell Apacs or Felet. In fact, both these brands are fighting neck and neck in the low-end and mid-end graphite badminton racket market. Internationally, Apacs started venturing overseas earlier than Felet but Felet are starting to catch up. In fact, in terms of marketing activities, Felet is more aggressive than Apacs. They have engaged many top badminton players to endorse their rackets; players such as Ng Ka Long (highest ranking #6) and Busanan Ongbamrungphan, (Best world ranking #12). No doubt the sponsorship money plays a role, but in the end, it still boils down to having high quality rackets that suit them. This is unsurprising as Felet have produced some premium rackets, even though only mostly Malaysians and Southeast Asian customers know about it. And, thanks to Felet's aggressive marketing program, now the whole world knows about it
From our blog about Apacs Badminton vs Felet Badminton, we mentioned that Felet's product development has a different direction compared to Apacs. Whereas Apacs focus on maintaining and enhancing their existing SKUs, Felet tend to introduce new products and phase out old products frequently, except for the premium models. Hence, when we talk about the number of models launched to date, Felet may have more compared to Apacs (though Apacs have more colour varieties for continued models). In fact, even within Malaysia, there are certain Felet SMU models that are made for specific areas of the countries only. So, if we add in all Felet models, there will definitely be more than a hundred (excluding colour differences).
Despite this large number, we manage to come out with a list of Felet's Top Ten Chart. Bear in mind that we only include those models that are still available in the market. Similar to Apacs' Top Ten Chart, our list consider factors such as popularity, quality and affordability.

F-Force Super Light
The F-Force Super Light is actually a modified old model. The initial F-Force was launched more than 8 years ago and modelled after Yonex Voltric Z Force. It had similar cosmetics designs but was targeted towards social players, instead of advanced players. At that time, the F-Force weighed between 80 to 85g. In keeping up with the current trend of playing with light racket, Felet has reduced the weight to about 70g and added the word Super Light to the name F-Force. Hence, the racket is now an extremely light equipment targeted at players who want to improve the speed of their game. The racket comes with a 6.5 super slim shaft which reduces drag. To ensure the racket has sufficient power, the balance of the racket has also been increased to a head heaviness of about 305mm. If you are a beginner or intermediate player looking for a fast and easy-to-handle racket without breaking your bank account, then this racket will be a good choice for you.

Woven 999
The brand Felet is somewhat synonymous with Woven technology; probably because they are the only brand that use woven graphite so extensively in their rackets. Sure, other brands employ woven technology as well, but not as widely nor as successfully as Felet. When a badminton customer, especially in Southeast Asia, intends to buy a woven racket, Felet is the first name that cross their mind, And, this Woven 999 is one of their oldest woven rackets. The racket has a compact aerodynamic frame, so most of its admirers are players who play in competitions; either at amateur or professional level. It is not as forgiving on off-center shots, so high skill is required. The racket is also slightly head heavy and stiff, both features preferred by an advanced player.

Woven Ti 3000
This is another racket that has similar background as the above Woven 999. It is also one of Felet's earliest woven racket and is also targeted at experienced and skilled players. It is different from the Woven 999 in that it has the Hexa feature in its frame. A Hexa frame increases the power of the racket. Hence, this racket is also suitable for higher intermediate players; not just competition players. In addition, it incorporates Woven Titanium in its construction. Its maximum tension is slightly lower than that of Woven 999, at 35lbs instead of 38lbs. However, this racket is ranked higher due to its suitability for a wider customer base and also its greater popularity, owing to is endorsement by Malaysian professional players.

Aero Carbon
Aero Carbon is Felet's mid-end model and is also one of a few Felet's prominent rackets which does not contain the Woven technology. It is endorsed by Busanan Ongbamrungphan, (Best world ranking #12). Aero Carbon is made for speed, generated by the Aero Hexa frame as well as Aero Carbon material. It also has a Wide Body frame, which increases its sweet spot and makes the racket more forgiving on off-center shots. Finally, Aero Carbon stands out from the rest due to its 80-hole grommet system, which is different from the conventional 72-hole and 76-hole. A 80-hole grommet system further enlarges the sweet spot and increases the durability of the string due to greater load sharing.

Woven TJ 1000
Along with TJ Power and 3K Woven Fence, TJ 1000 is probably the most famous Felet racket for two reasons. First, it is endorsed by several professional players, including Indonesia's Shesar Hiren Rhustavito (Best Ranking #18). Second, it contains the "Slingshot Design" in its T-Joint, which is claimed to propel the shuttlecock to an average speed of 400km/hour. In addition, it has a 6.5mm Slim Shaft, a slightly Head Heavy balance and an Aerodynamic Frame design. All these ensure that your shots will be fast and powerful. If you like Yonex Astrox series advanced rackets, you can give this TJ 1000 a try.

Airlighter 58
This is Felet's answer to Apacs' World' Lightest Badminton racket, the Feather Weight 55 (FW55). The Airlighter 58 is made as light as the FW55, but it packs slightly more punch via its 340mm Head Heavy Balance. This is probably the heaviest head balance you have ever seen in the market, and rightly so due to the extreme light weight of the racket. With this extreme head heaviness, you will have fewer backhands and back court shots that give your opponents the chance to smash at you. Not only this, but the Airlighter 58 can also be strung 4lbs higher than the Apacs FW55 (not that it is a good idea to string it at 32lbs). Lastly, the shaft of Airlighter 58 is made of high-strength carbon, in order to ensure that the racket has adequate power and control despite its weight.

3K Woven Fence
3K Woven Fence is endorsed by Hong Kong's Ng Ka Long, who boasts a best world-ranking of #6. No other Felet racket has been used by such a high-ranking player. The standout feature of this racket is its VS Wing Knife Design, which is not present in other rackets. This type of frame design gives the racket a tremendous amount of stability and control. It has minimal torsion and allows you to place your shots where you want them to be. The frame also incorporates 2 speed-related technology: Aero-Hexa and also High-Speed, making the racket extremely fast. You will be surprised to know that this racket has a medium flex, so it is easy to use; even intermediate players can play with it. In short, if you need something fast with good control, go for the 3K Woven Fence.

Sport Force
We can't talk about Felet without mentioning the Sports Force. It was one of their best-sellers during the earlier days and is still high in demand now. The racket performs well and the price is entry-level. Amazingly, it is also one of the first, if not the first, racket to be able to withstand 40lbs in lab testing (please don't try in court). It means the racket is extremely durable, even at that price. There is every reason to like it, if you are a beginner or intermediate player. It is light, easy to handle, fast, stable and durable; everything you could dream of in an upper entry-level graphite racket. The only reason it does not rank higher in our list, is because it is not as "prestigious" as the other two.

Aero Carbon Lite
Aero Carbon Lite is the lighter version of Aero Carbon (#7 in our list). Whereas Aero Carbon is designed for more advanced players, Aero Carbon Lite is made for intermediate players. In line with the increasing demand for light rackets in recent years, the Aero Carbon Lite has become a well-sought-after racket as it weighs only 70g. One of the main complaints about light rackets in general, is that users have to sacrifice control and accuracy for the sake of light weight. However, this is not the case with Aero Carbon Lite. This is because it has a slightly stiff shaft, enabling the users to exert more control over their shots. It helps them to place their shots precisely where they want.

Woven TJ Power
It is probably not surprising that this model makes it to the top of our chart, as it is Felet's premium model and it has been around for a long time (in Felet context). In fact, it is so good that Felet make another version of it for social players. Woven TJ Power has always been the preferred choice for many Malaysian national players over the past few years. The racket is well-known for its established power, generated by its Wave Turbo Frame. It produces lethal smashes and deadly, lightning shots. Furthermore, the woven carbon fiber material not only enhances the racket's durability but also improves its stability. The racket has a solid, premium feel, and the attention to detail in its construction is clearly evident.
